January 27, 2009 

This week Crime Solvers needs your help to solve a murder. On Saturday, January 10th Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Office responded to the call of shots fired in the 24000 block of Raymond Road in the north end of Dinwiddie County. The first officers arriving on the scene found that a 2002 BMW driven by 31 year old Ervin Jermaine Crowder, also known as "Easy", had crashed near the intersection of Mcilwaine Drive and Raymond Road. Mr. Crowder was suffering from a gun shot wound and was pronounced dead upon his arrival at the hospital.

Investigators have received valuable information from the public in this case but further information is needed to bring this case to a close. Help us get this killer off of the street.

An assailant gunned down DeAndre "Dee" Thomas (shown at left) on October 21, 2005 behind a residence in the 100 block of Liberty Street in Petersburg. Although it has been over three years since the shooting, police are still actively working the case and have developed some leads. Your information can help bring closure to the family of DeAndre Thomas.

This week Crime Solvers needs your help locating a fugitive with an extensive violent criminal history.

Jasmine Alexander Collins has many outstanding warrants on file in Petersburg for various firearm violations. He is a 22 year old black male, 5'10" tall, 195 pounds, with dark hair and eyes. Collins may be staying with relatives in Georgia, but specific information is needed. His last known address in the tri-Cities area was 3704 Pepperwood Lane.

This week Crime Solvers needs your help with an unsolved robbery.

On August 6, 2008,
Devainte Green also known as "DJ" and an accomplice robbed a wheelchair bound victim at gunpoint in Petersburg's Pecan Acres. He is also wanted for other robberies that occurred since then. It is now believed that Mr. Green was shot over the holiday and may be seeking medical attention using an alias. He is armed, hurt, and dangerous.

Devainte Green is 21 years old, 6'2", 182 pounds, with dark hair and complexion. He has tattoos on his lower right arm with letters.
